Minutes of Meeting 10 February 2014

Present: Edwin, Paul, Marie-Louise, Nenette, John, Sera, Robin, Ken, Evelyn.

Edwin opened the meeting with a welcome, particularly Evelyn, our new member. No comments were made about the minutes of the AGM.

We currently have a bank balance of 1.887 € .

The 12 February competition can use a maximum of 18 courts and registration will start at 12h45.

For the competition of 16 February against Tenbel, the captians of the teams can obtain their number from 13h00 and the competition will start at 13h30.

Paul will put the list of teams on the blog.

The competition against the Swedes will take place on the 20 February and start at 9h00. All are welcome to put forward their proposals for teams but preference will be given to those who are not taking part in the competition against Tenbel.

This year, it is our responsibility to provide the bar for the drink of friendship which will be offered after the competition.

Notes :

–                    14/02 : the bus going to Westhavenbay will leave Comodoro at 10h30 (40 euros per person excluding drinks), the return is expected at 18h00 and , for those who are not too tired, they can have a drink and dance at Castañuelas.

–                    21/2 : dinner and dance at Castañuelas from 19h00, a choice of « carne con papas » or « salmon » plus a cava and a dessert for 12 €, excluding drinks ; please register with Sera for meal and menu choice ;

–                    6/3 : meal following the carnaval des « mujeres ». The bus will leave at 11h30 from Comodoro to take people to Westhavenbay. The price of the buffet will be 18€ excluding drinks. Afternoon of dancing. Don’t forget to come in fancy dress !
